For great magic, it isn't so much about the trick itself, it is about the presentation!

Magic is all about the show and entertainment.  If the audience has time to identify the secret to a trick, then the magician has failed to present it properly.  A real magician will be able to keep an act going with the audience happy to be completely unaware of how the tricks are done, and also they are happy that they don't know and are just having a good time.
